Holistics with Hollie offers mobile reflexology treatments in clients’ homes.

We worked together to build her brand, including logo, website, iconography, and social media elements.

Taking her love of outdoors as inspiration, the Holistics with Hollie logo features an ‘H’ emblem evoking a flower, presented in her favourite shade of green with clean white highlights. Crimson Pro, a gentle serif typeface, is used for the logo text.

The logo colours and typeface are carried across to the website design (built on WordPress), which features a considered choice of imagery and recognisable icons designed to convey each treatment to clients. The pages are optimised for SEO to ensure high rankings for local users with clear call to actions.

After proposing to my fiancée, we obviously had a lot to think about! After setting a date, the first thing we needed to was let our family and friends know when our wedding would be.

Being an October wedding, we chose to create wedding stationary with an autumnal theme, starting with the ‘Save the Date’ card. This theme carried over to the invitations, place cards, and display boards for timings and seating. It also applied to the ‘Change the Date’ card as we decided to postpone due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

FLOvate uses printed and digital media to promote LEAP and the services that the company offers.

Printed materials have included brochures, white papers and reports.

Digital media has included cases studies, information documents, white papers and Powerpoint presentations.

Sales Brochure

This brochure evolved over time – with early versions featuring bright imagery coupled with written copy, to the most recent presented with clean two tone images, and pull-out quotes and iconography to highlight important elements of the text.

White Papers

FLOvate’s white papers cover topics ranging from process improvement to operational efficiency. These documents have been made available as printed documents at exhibitions, digital PDFs for distribution, and as blog posts for online reading. For each format, an emphasis was placed on clear, clean layout with use of complimentary imagery and illustrations where appropriate.

PDF Information Documents

FLOvate require digital documents alongside physical to advertise to their customers. This is one example of a PDF document created to showcase the features of the company’s software.

PetFocus is a quarterly magazine aimed at pet owners and enthusiasts. The magazine is available from branches of the Stowe Veterinary Group and select partners. Articles include features on animal behaviour, veterinary advice and pet care tips.

Layouts were designed to be clear with a bold use of imagery and colour to define headings and fly-out information. I was lead designer from mid 2013 – March 2014; this included managing a full magazine redesign, ensuring all deliverables were completed, and liaising with the print house.

Veterinary Management For Today was the Veterinary Management Group’s quarterly journal aimed at veterinary practice managers and professionals. It featured articles about finance, staff training, marketing, health and safety, amongst other management topics.

In contrast to PetFocus, the journal was text and data heavy, so layouts were designed with readability and clarity in mind; with subtle use of colour and imagery to enhance the articles.

My responsibilities on the journal included page layouts using a defined template, sourcing imagery, making print ready artwork, and proof-reading.
