MiMarketplace is a new marketplace initially aimed at ride-share drivers.

Following the design language of the main MIC Global website, MiMarketplace features a clean blue, dark grey, and white colour scheme, with bold headings and minimal but relevant copy to inform users quickly and coherently.

A floating CTA button is utilised in place of a button in each section, keeping the button in constant view as an incentive to press at any time.

The website is built on WordPress, using the Neve theme. The site is fully responsive, with page layouts created using Kadence Block Editor.

MIC Global’s website is the initial impression many potential customers have of the company. As such, it is vital that the value MIC offers is immediately clear.

The site features a clean blue, dark grey, and white colour scheme, with bold copy to draw attention to MIC’s proposition. Blue elements are used to highlight calls-to-action, standing out from the copy.

For accessibility, an automated dark-mode is available, making the site easy to navigate per user preference.

The website is built on WordPress, using the Neve theme. The site is fully responsive, with page layouts created using Kadence Block Editor.

MIC Global uses videos to support sales and give followers insight into daily activity and promotions on LinkedIn.

Videos followed the design language of the website – making use of blue graphics on white backgrounds. Animations were produced using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

Alongside scripting, storyboard, asset creation and animation, I also provided voice over for many of MIC’s videos.

I provided copywriting for company news, press releases, guest appearances (podcasts/panels), and blog articles for thought leadership and promotion on the MIC Global website.

Copywriting has also been integral while developing MIC’s websites – by providing support in proof-reading, editing, and ensuring language compliance.

News/PR pieces required communication with relevant parties both internal and external to understand the announcement and arrange suitable quotes and specific details for inclusion. Certain PR articles required an understanding of acceptable insurance language – ensuring compliance with FCA and Lloyd’s guidelines and regularly liaising with a regulatory body for review and sign-off.

Blog posts required relevant research into subject matter to support sales messaging about MIC’s key products. Articles have covered a broad range of topics including embedded micro insurance, income loss from layoff and business interruption, financial resilience, identity theft, and insurance protection gaps.

Holistics with Hollie offers mobile reflexology treatments in clients’ homes.

We worked together to build her brand, including logo, website, iconography, and social media elements.

Taking her love of outdoors as inspiration, the Holistics with Hollie logo features an ‘H’ emblem evoking a flower, presented in her favourite shade of green with clean white highlights. Crimson Pro, a gentle serif typeface, is used for the logo text.

The logo colours and typeface are carried across to the website design (built on WordPress), which features a considered choice of imagery and recognisable icons designed to convey each treatment to clients. The pages are optimised for SEO to ensure high rankings for local users with clear call to actions.

After proposing to my fiancée, we obviously had a lot to think about! After setting a date, the first thing we needed to was let our family and friends know when our wedding would be.

Being an October wedding, we chose to create wedding stationary with an autumnal theme, starting with the ‘Save the Date’ card. This theme carried over to the invitations, place cards, and display boards for timings and seating. It also applied to the ‘Change the Date’ card as we decided to postpone due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The solution features the initials of the company, ‘lhp’, wrapped in a camera outline, coupled with the their name below in Quicksand. A second treatment with aligned company name was also provided.

ISM are a multi-national organisation who give advice and support for workforce development, and work with governments, regulators and firms to ensure that policy, controls and commercial models are correct and appropriately executed.

The organisation has been active since 2017, though were missing an online presence. Amber Admin contacted me to provide visual and web support, including the creation of a logo and website, followed by getting the website hosted and managed.

ISM were presented with a choice of logo options and a simple, yet effective, one page WordPress website.

The website uses the OnePress theme, which has been modified to implement their choice of colour branding, as well as the inclusion of translation functionality.

If a user adds the website to their mobile device home screen, the bookmark acts as a contained progressive web app (PWA) upon launch.
